The Harbord Hotel - aka 'The Hilton' - leans into it's beachside location and local heritage. Located just moments away from Freshwater Beach NSW, The Harbord Hotel has a rich history in Australian surf culture and a strong community spirit.
Refurbished in 2021, Alexander & Co transformed this pre-war pavilion to include a ground floor front bar, Balsa restaurant, kitchen facilities, external courtyards and a refurbished original staircase leading to a functions/events area with a built-out balcony.
The sprawling public bar features regular live music and comedy, and fine dining restaurant Balsa is the perfect spot for a long lunch or easy dinner. As our 'local', we're partial to the breezy terrace and love to drop in on the way home from the beach for a quick a drink and family friendly meal underneath one of our bright, bespoke umbrellas.
What we love? Popping in for a cheeky post-swim bite with our kids and fur baby, Rudy, on the terrace.
